The Announcement
We are authorised by CT Carbon as an official installer and dealer - bringing the UK's most respected carbon fibre bodykit brand together with the precision installation standard that FX Detailing has spent a decade developing.
This matters for a simple reason: the quality of a carbon bodykit is determined not just by the component, but by the installation. A poorly installed CT Carbon kit on a performance car is not better than a well-installed kit from a lesser manufacturer. The fitment is what makes or breaks the result. And CT Carbon components - fitted with the precision they deserve - produce a result that is in a different category from anything else available in the aftermarket.
Why CT Carbon
CT Carbon is the standard by which other carbon fibre bodykit manufacturers in the UK are measured. The quality of their moulding, the accuracy of their fitment surfaces and the consistency of their finish put them ahead of every comparable supplier in the market. Their catalogue covers the most significant performance cars in the BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Lamborghini and McLaren ranges with model-specific components developed to precise fitment tolerances.
They are also selective about who they authorise to install their products. CT Carbon does not grant authorisation to workshops that cannot demonstrate the installation quality their components deserve. The authorisation process exists because the brand's reputation depends on every installed component being fitted correctly - and they know that a misinstalled component, regardless of the quality of the part, reflects on them.
We are proud to hold that authorisation.
What Authorised Installation Means in Practice
As a CT Carbon authorised dealer and installer, we supply and fit CT Carbon components with the full backing and quality assurance of the brand. This means our clients have access to the complete CT Carbon catalogue for their specific vehicle - specified correctly for their model and variant - installed at our Charlwood studio to the precision standard that authorised installer status requires.
It also means that when an FX Detailing client asks for a CT Carbon kit, they are dealing with a supplier who has been formally assessed and approved by the manufacturer. Not a workshop that has purchased components and is installing them without oversight.
Every installation follows our full process: dry fit assessment, hand preparation of mounting surfaces where required, factory mounting point use, alignment checks throughout, and a final assessment under studio lighting before the car leaves our hands.
CT Carbon Installations We Carry Out - Surrey & London
We install CT Carbon components across the performance car ranges where CT Carbon produces its strongest catalogue: BMW M2, M3, M4, M5, M8, Audi RS range, Mercedes-AMG C63, E63 and GT, McLaren Sport and Super Series, and selected Lamborghini and Porsche models. Front splitters, side skirts, rear diffusers, boot spoilers and full conversion kits.
We also install components from Xclusive Customz, another brand for which we hold authorised installer status - giving our clients access to the two strongest names in the UK bodykit market from a single, trusted installation specialist.

CT Carbon Authorised Installer FAQ
Why Should I use an Authorised CT Carbon Installer?
CT Carbon components are engineered to precise tolerances. An authorised installer like FX Detailing has been vetted by the brand to ensure that every front splitter, side skirt, and diffuser is fitted with the correct alignment and structural integrity. This preserves the component's warranty and ensures it performs safely at high speeds.
Can You supply the CT Carbon Parts as Well as Fit Them?
Yes. As an authorised dealer, we can source the full CT Carbon catalogue for your specific vehicle. This provides a "one-stop" solution where we manage the order, quality check the components upon arrival, and perform the precision installation at our Surrey studio.
How Long Does it Take to Fit a Full CT Carbon kit?
A full aero kit installation (front, sides, rear, and spoiler) typically takes one full day at our Charlwood studio. This allows us to perform a meticulous dry-fit of every part and use automotive-grade fixings to ensure the kit is fully integrated with the vehicle’s original bodywork.
